DESCRIPTION
Certificate III in Make-up has been designed to reflect the role of individuals who are competent in communicating in the workplace, interacting with customers, demonstrating, applying and selling make-up and retail skin care products, and will possess a range of well-developed technical and consultation skills where discretion and judgement is required and are responsible for their own outputs. This includes working cooperatively with a range of individuals including photographers, fashion stylists and media production staff.
Training is at the college in a salon setting, with a mix of practical work on clients, written work, workshops, and group discussion. Assessment includes theory work, demonstration of skills & participation in salon duties, written and or oral tests. All practical assessments will be required to be carried out on paying members of the public.
