Wellbeing and Mental Health

Experiencing a certain level of anxiety or stress during your studies is entirely normal and can, in fact, enhance focus and productivity. However, excessive stress or anxiety is neither beneficial nor healthy.

Student life often presents a range of challenges. Balancing academic, work, and personal responsibilities can be demanding and requires effective coping strategies. Good mental health enables you to appreciate daily life, manage stress, engage actively in your studies, and fulfil other commitments.

Wellbeing is more than simply being healthy or happy; it is the ability to flourish and thrive. This encompasses cultivating positive personal and professional relationships, experiencing ongoing personal growth, staying motivated, and taking pride in your achievements. A strong sense of wellbeing significantly contributes to maintaining good mental health.

Establishing a supportive environment is also essential. In addition to seeking assistance from educators when needed, accessing external resources can further promote mental health and wellbeing.
